Meet Stuart

With over 40 years of experience in the financial and investment industry Stuart joined forces with Gold Family Wealth in 2021 as a Wealth Advisor.  Stuart’s professional journey began in New York City working with a high net-worth money manager then shifting to the institutional side as a bond trader.

In the early 1990’s, an opportunity was presented to Stuart to live and work in San Francisco focusing on information technology. Stuart decided to leave Wall Street and concentrate on learning computer technology.  After scratching the Silicon Valley itch Stuart decided to return to his roots in finance to start his own financial advisory firm. Stuart says, “Working as a fiduciary is the best job I’ve ever had.”

Stuarts found his true passion was helping families design their financial world through proactive financial planning to help ensure they enjoy their retirement without worrying about running out of money.  Stuart recognized that to truly help his clients pursue all that is important to them, he needed to provide them with a “Family Office experience” providing guidance on every aspect of their financial life, ranging from investment strategies, Tax Planning/Preparation, Retirement, Estate Planning, Risk Management and much more.  To do all of this Stuart recognized the need to work with a team of knowledgeable professionals who could offer the depth and breadth necessary to offer his clients best in class experience. After extensive research and due diligence, it became clear that merging with Gold Family Wealth accomplished this goal.

Stuart is a Chartered Financial Consultant and holds a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from New York University. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania majoring in Economics with a minor in Anthropology.
